On April 2, 2001, a then 20-year-old Male named Alejandro Ortiz Espino vanished under harrowing circumstances in the frigid waters of the Bering Sea. He was aboard the 92-foot fishing vessel, the Arctic Rose, which was home-ported in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, some 800 miles west of Anchorage.
