On August 27, 2004, a 35-year-old man named Robert George Lane, Jr. from Palmer, Alaska, disappeared under perplexing circumstances. He was working aboard the fishing vessel Hunter, which was navigating the waters between King Cove and Sand Point at the time of his disappearance. Robert, an American Indian / Alaska Native male with black hair and brown eyes, stood at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed around 185 pounds.
