On August 27, 2011, a 46-year-old assistant hunting guide named Brian Murray vanished from the remote wilderness near Dillingham, Alaska. An experienced outdoorsman, Brian was working at a camp situated upstream on the Nushagak River. On that late summer day, he was last seen leaving a beach near the camp, operating a small skiff.
