In the spring of 2015, the life of 54-year-old David Kawika Pukahi took a tragic and mysterious turn. On the afternoon of April 6th, Pukahi was reportedly on Emerson Road in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the company of two male acquaintances. According to witness accounts, a violent altercation occurred around 1:10 p.m., which culminated in Pukahi being assaulted and forced into a dark blue Chevrolet Silverado by the two men.
