In the autumn of 2019, Juan J. Guzman was preparing for a significant life change. The 56-year-old was in St. George, Utah, for the purpose of selling some property, a final step before his planned move to Orem, Utah. He was expected to arrive in Orem around November 13, 2019, but he never made it. His plans appeared to take an unexpected turn, causing concern among his family when he failed to show up.
