In the late summer of 1997, the life of 29-year-old Emrick Rogers, known to some as 'Rico,' took an unforeseen and distressing turn. On September 4th of that year, Emrick was in Opelousas, Louisiana, where he had gone to see his girlfriend at her home on Ina Claire Drive. An argument reportedly took place between the couple, after which Emrick left the residence. Tragically, this would be the last time he was seen or heard from by his loved ones.
