Bethany Ruby Bower, a 38-year-old woman from Newton, Illinois, vanished in late July 2021, leaving her loved ones in a state of prolonged uncertainty. At the time of her disappearance, she was living with her sister, Barb Lingafelter, and they were jointly caring for a relative at another residence. Reports indicate that on July 24, 2021, Bethany was seen leaving her home with her personal belongings and her dog.
