In the late spring of 2023, concern grew for a 17-year-old named Nethaniel Smith from Jonesboro, Georgia. He was reported missing on May 29, 2023, after leaving his home that morning. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as an African American male, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
