He was last seen in Scooba, Mississippi, at a Chevron gas station while traveling with another man in his 2011 Nissan Infiniti QX50 SUV, which had a personalized license plate reading "SIRNARD." Jones had left his home in Center Point, Alabama, earlier that day, planning to visit the Golden Moon Casino in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He was carrying a large sum of money at the time.
