In early March 2022, 59-year-old David Gary Wheeler disappeared from Rockford, Illinois, sparking concern among his family and the community. He was last observed leaving his residence on the morning of March 4th, 2022. At the time he went missing, he was reportedly wearing a Minnesota Vikings sweatshirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. Descriptions provided by law enforcement noted that David might be without his glasses, which he normally wears.
