In the quiet community of Deer Island, Oregon, a family was forever changed on May 2, 1993. On that day, 42-year-old Jimmy W. Heavener was seen leaving his home. He was a man described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 230 pounds, with gray or partially gray hair and hazel eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a camouflage hat, blue jeans, and a shirt of a bluish-green color. Since that spring day, his family has had no contact with him, leaving a void of unanswered questions.
