She was reportedly abducted by her non-custodial mother, Donica Shelton, along with her siblings Jazmine, Jozlynn, and Joseph Shelton. Authorities have released age-progressed images of the children to aid in their search. At the time of her disappearance, Janay was described as having brown hair and brown eyes.
