In the summer of 1998, a compassionate and educated man named Dr. Henry Peter Ackerman, a 48-year-old child psychologist, vanished while on a trip to Memphis, Tennessee. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he had traveled to Memphis with plans of purchasing a vehicle for a new chapter in his life he was planning in Alaska.
