Barbara D. G. Sears Fears was a 56-year-old woman residing in Reno, Nevada, at the time of her disappearance. She was a resident of the Able Abilities Group Home, a facility for adults with mental illness. On October 5, 2008, Barbara was seen walking away from the group home, which would be the last confirmed sighting of her by those who knew her.
