In the autumn of 2022, a young woman named Selena Garcia disappeared from Gwinnett County, Georgia, leaving her family enveloped in a state of anxious uncertainty. The last confirmed communication from Selena was on October 6, 2022, shortly after she was released from jail. Her sister, with whom she shared a close bond, received a text from her that evening.
