On the morning of Saturday, September 5, 2020, Jesus Mancilla-Velez departed from his residence on Red Fox Run in Warner Robins, Georgia. A neighbor witnessed the 35-year-old getting into his black 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe alone between 9 and 10 a.m. He was planning to meet a friend for a weekend trip to Savannah but never arrived for the planned getaway and made no contact to say he would not be coming.
