In the late summer of 2025, a sense of concern fell over a community in Easton, Pennsylvania. On August 8th, a 16-year-old girl named Tiara Garcia-Carmona was last seen. She, along with a friend, walked away from their residence in the College Hill area. At the time of her disappearance, Tiara was described as a Hispanic and White/Caucasian female, standing at approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 146 pounds. She had brown eyes and her black hair, which she wore past her shoulders, had been recently dyed a vibrant "fire engine red". She was known to have several piercings, including in her ears, nose, and tongue. When she was last seen, she was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and gray sweat shorts, and it is believed she may have had a pair of Crocs and a purse with her. The initial circumstances surrounding Tiaras disappearance were vague. It was unclear whether she and her friend had remained on foot or if they had been picked up by a vehicle. There was speculation that Tiara might have headed towards the Bethlehem area, possibly to a wooded location. A significant challenge for those searching for her was the belief that neither Tiara nor her friend had a phone with them at the time they left. The Wilson Borough Police Department opened an investigation into her disappearance, and her case was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) a week after she was last seen. A development in the case occurred on August 19, 2025, when Tiaras friend was located in Bethlehem and safely returned to her home in Pike County. However, this breakthrough did not immediately lead to Tiaras whereabouts. Her friend was not with her when she was found and could only state that Tiara was still somewhere in Bethlehem City with another friend. This information, while providing a general location, left many questions unanswered and did little to ease the worries of Tiara's family and the community. The investigation into her disappearance continues, with law enforcement seeking any information that could help bring her home safely. The case serves as a poignant reminder of the uncertainty and distress that grips a community when a young person vanishes.
