In the late summer of 2022, concern began to grow for 40-year-old David Mitchell of Paterson, New Jersey. A cousin of his would later report to the Paterson Police Department that her last contact with him was on September 1, 2022. As weeks turned into months with no word, the silence became increasingly alarming to those who knew him.
