On a summer morning, the Fourth of July in 2024, 59-year-old Federico Granados-Sanchez walked away from his residence in Carol Stream, Illinois. It was around 10:00 a.m. when he was last seen, dressed in all black: pants, a t-shirt, shoes, and a cap.
