In the late winter of 1991, a young man named Reuben Micah Lewis, just 20 years old, vanished from Everett, Washington. On the evening of February 21, 1991, a friend dropped Reuben off at the Mallard Cove Apartments, located in the 12400 block of Admiralty Way. He was last observed walking towards the 'C' building of the complex. The friend who had given him a ride waited for about forty minutes, but when Reuben failed to return, the friend departed.
