In the summer of 1995, the life of Douglas 'Doug' Kirk, a 35-year-old single father from McRae, Arkansas, took a turn that left his family searching for answers for decades. He was last seen by his family on August 3, 1995, during a visit to his grandmother's house. A couple of days later, on August 5, he reportedly attended a concert in Little Rock with a female friend.
