On the evening of November 11, 2000, 23-year-old Hope Renee Curry was at her brother's home on Bancroft Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Around 9:30 p.m., after receiving a page, she told her brother she was walking to a nearby Texaco station at Rosemont and Holland Roads to use a payphone.
