When he was last seen, it is believed he was wearing a black, full-length "First Down" coat, possibly with blue jeans, and a distinctive pair of white, orange, and blue "Air Max" athletic shoes. His hair was styled in an afro at the time of his disappearance. The investigation into Jawan's disappearance has been handled by the Detroit Police Department.
