On April 17, 2001, Mickey Wright Sr., a 46-year-old code enforcement officer for Shelby County, Tennessee, disappeared while on duty. A devoted father of five, he was last seen in the vicinity of the 2500 block of Lamar Avenue in Memphis, after reportedly issuing a citation at a car lot.
