On June 29, 2004, 42-year-old Evelyn Ann Frisco attended a court hearing in New Haven, Connecticut, for a shoplifting charge. She was sentenced to two years of conditional discharge and was last seen leaving the courthouse. Following this appearance, Evelyn, who was known to her loved ones as 'Evy,' vanished and all contact with her family ceased.
