In the late summer of 2006, 21-year-old Clinton 'Clint' Devon Nelson was seeking a fresh start. Having moved to Haughton, Louisiana, from South Dakota just six months prior to connect with his biological father, Clinton was working on an oil rig and navigating the complexities of his new life.
