On a cold January night in 2002, the life of Dr. Cherryl Lamont Pearson, a respected 37-year-old pediatrician, took an inexplicable turn, leaving her family and community with a void that has yet to be filled. On the evening of January 4th, Cherryl, a season ticket holder, attended a Memphis Grizzlies basketball game at the Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee.
