In the autumn of 2023, Katheryn 'Katie' Ferguson, a 34-year-old mother of two, embarked on a cross-country journey that would end in her vanishing without a trace. She was traveling with her ex-boyfriend, Adam Aviles Jr., and their two young daughters, heading from Alabama back to their home in Cody, Wyoming.
