In the summer of 1984, Jennifer Anne Douglas was a 17-year-old with a promising future. A dedicated straight-A student at Denver's East High School, she was also a passionate and skilled ballet dancer, eagerly preparing for a performance scheduled for the week after she vanished. Known to her loved ones as Jenny, she was also an avid cyclist, sometimes embarking on rides as long as 60 miles.
