In the late autumn of 1989, a 30-year-old single mother named Twyla Kaye Mickey vanished from Doraville, Georgia, leaving behind a trail of fear and unanswered questions. On November 30th, she was seen for the last time at a local motel, getting into a pickup truck. That same day, a frantic and ominous message was left on her parents' answering machine.
