In the small city of Grants Pass, Oregon, a then 19-year-old Patricia Joanne Watts was last seen on November 29, 2006. She was leaving the Olde Town Mall located in the 100 block of Northwest F Street at the time of her disappearance. Patricia, who was 5 feet tall and weighed between 105 and 110 pounds, had her brown hair dyed blonde at the time she went missing. She has blue eyes and a fair complexion with acne. Distinctive features include a tattoo of the words "Baby Boy" on her left calf and both of her ears being double-pierced. When last seen, she was wearing a sweatshirt and pants and was carrying a blue backpack and an "Eeyore" bag with a flap. The circumstances surrounding Patricia's disappearance are fraught with concern. At the time she went missing, she was known to be involved with the local drug culture and had a history of fraud, theft, and drug-related offenses. Authorities were aware of a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest but did not believe she was attempting to flee from the law. It has been suggested that her disappearance could be linked to gang retaliation, as she was in a relationship with a gang member at the time. This theory, however, has not been officially proven. The last person known to have seen her was her boyfriend, who was with her at the mall. He reported that he did not know where she was headed after they separated, and investigators found it difficult to obtain further information from him. Over the years, the case of Patricia Watts has remained unsolved, leaving her family and community with unanswered questions. Her involvement in a high-risk lifestyle has complicated the investigation, presenting multiple possibilities as to what may have happened to her. Despite the passage of time, the Grants Pass Police Department continues to list her as a missing person. The lack of resolution in her case serves as a somber reminder of the vulnerabilities faced by some individuals and the enduring pain experienced by those left behind when a loved one vanishes without a trace.
