On September 23, 2008, in Hilo, Hawaii, 33-year-old Marlo Moku, a mother to a young daughter, vanished from her home. That day, according to her boyfriend, he came home for his lunch break around 11:30 in the morning. Marlo indicated that she needed to go to the store and intended to take their two-year-old daughter with her. Her boyfriend suggested she leave their daughter at home and go to the store by herself.
