In the late summer of 1979, the small mountain town of Georgetown, Colorado, became the backdrop for a mystery that would endure for decades. A 21-year-old woman named Norma Jean Halford vanished, leaving behind a life and a future. The first tangible sign that something was gravely wrong surfaced when her vehicle was discovered abandoned.
