On a cold morning in Rector, Arkansas, a man named George McGinnis was seen walking along Highway 49. It was approximately 6:45 a.m. on February 27, 1999, and this would be the last time he was reportedly seen. At 48 years old, McGinnis was a resident of Clay County. On the day he vanished, he was wearing a red hooded coat, brown pants, and thick eyeglasses. His destination and the reason for his early morning walk remain unknown.
