In the winter of 2000, amidst the holiday season, 40-year-old Mary Kay McMillan disappeared from her life in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. She was last seen on December 28, a Thursday, and after that day, no one in her circle heard from her again. Mary was a familiar face in her community and was also known to spend time in the nearby cities of Coon Rapids and northeast Minneapolis.
