In the early summer of 1953, a mother of five children vanished from her home in Portland, Connecticut, leaving behind a mystery that has endured for decades. Frances L. Tuccitto, a 45-year-old woman, was last seen at her residence in the 10 block of Commerce Drive on June 1, 1953. After that day, she was never seen or heard from again.
