In the autumn of 1991, a profound mystery began to unfold in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with the disappearance of 39-year-old Kim Lawrence Allgood. A man who sometimes went by the alias Randy Galloway, Kim was a United States Marine Corps veteran with a distinctive cross-shaped scar on his forehead.
