DeNeka Dashay Walker, a 30-year-old mother of four, vanished from Muskegon, Michigan, on August 13, 2010. On that day, she was seen getting into a black Cadillac CTS driven by a man known only by the nickname 'Brick'. This man was known to have connections to the Chicago, Illinois area. DeNeka, also known as Neka, was last seen in the vehicle, and has not been heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, she lived in the 300 block of Amity Avenue in Muskegon. Her family officially reported her missing on August 24, 2010, eleven days after she was last seen. DeNeka is a Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She stood between 5'8" and 5'10" and weighed between 150 and 180 pounds. She has several distinguishing features, including teeth that protrude slightly, and piercings in her nose and both ears. DeNeka has a tattoo of her name, "DeNeka," on her left arm and another tattoo of the words "Sexy Bitch" on her leg, which is described as being poorly done. On the day she went missing, she was reportedly wearing a black shirt and white capri pants. Authorities were able to identify and question the man called 'Brick'. He voluntarily came to the police station for questioning, but law enforcement found no evidence to implicate him in DeNeka's disappearance and he was subsequently released. The investigation has been complicated by rumors that DeNeka may have been involved in the theft of a large sum of money and drugs prior to her disappearance, though these claims have not been confirmed. Her family does not believe she would have voluntarily abandoned her four children, who were placed in foster care after she went missing. The Muskegon Police Department continues to investigate her case, which remains unsolved.
