On a cold evening in November 1983, a simple errand took a turn that would leave a family with questions for decades to come. Doris Jean Stalker, a 54-year-old female from Hilliards, Pennsylvania, vanished without a trace from the parking lot of a supermarket in Emlenton. She and her husband had initially driven to a pharmacy in Mariasville to fill a prescription, but upon finding it closed, they decided to stop at the Super Duper Market in nearby Emlenton.
