The story of Charles 'Chuck' Duke's disappearance began on a summer day in 2003 in the rugged terrain of Vogel Canyon, located in Otero County, Colorado. On or around August 17th, the 56-year-old U.S. Army veteran was with a female companion, Pam, driving a blue and gray minivan on an unpaved road, making their way to the Vogel Canyon Picnic Area.
