In May of 2005, Jeffrey Lee Fossum, a 50-year-old resident of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, vanished under perplexing circumstances. A neighbor initiated the official missing person report after a concerning series of events. Initially, the neighbor found Mr. Fossum's two Golden Retrievers running loose and his home on Thistlebrook Lane unlocked.
