In the winter of 2006, 38-year-old Tarrance Edward Ross was a resident of Detroit, Michigan. On the first of December, he informed those at his home that he was going to visit a friend. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jogging pants, and house shoes, but he was not wearing a shirt. Tarrance, who sometimes went by the first name "Terrance" or the middle name "Albert," was a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, and he had a beard and mustache at the time of his disappearance. He stood six feet tall and weighed between 185 and 200 pounds. The place he was reportedly going to visit was a suspected drug house. After leaving his residence, Tarrance was never seen or heard from again. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance have led investigators to suspect that he was a victim of foul play. Despite the passage of time, his case has remained open and is considered an endangered missing person case. His family and the authorities are still seeking answers to what happened to him on that December day. The investigation into Tarrance Ross's disappearance is being handled by the Detroit Police Department. His case has been entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), a national centralized repository and resource center for missing persons and unidentified decedent records. The case highlights the ongoing issue of missing persons in urban areas and the pain and uncertainty that families endure when a loved one vanishes under suspicious circumstances. While foul play is suspected, the specific details of what occurred after he left his home remain unknown, and his disappearance is still an unsolved case.
