On a summer day in Oklahoma, July 11, 1981, 29-year-old Kenneth Lawrence Dietrich packed a small suitcase at his home in Yukon. He told his family he was heading out to meet friends from work at the Lamp Lighter club. Their plan was to go on a float trip. Dressed in a multicolored striped shirt, jeans, and Roper-style boots, the husband and father of three left his residence and was never seen or heard from again.
