In February 2007, concerns grew for 27-year-old Benjamin 'Ben' Clemens Kalina when he failed to appear for his job and a friend was unable to get in touch with him. This uncharacteristic absence prompted his friend to report him missing, and soon both the Northglenn Police Department and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office in Colorado were involved in the investigation.
