Larry Dale Hardenbrook was a 78-year-old man from Beaver City, Nebraska, whose disappearance began on a cold January night in Furnas County. Public missing-person sources described him as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 190 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes.
