On July 6, 2014, Jayvaire was last seen by those who knew him. On that day, he was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, and a blue hat. He also may have been wearing a diamond stud in his pierced left earlobe. The specific details surrounding the moment he went missing remain unclear, leaving his loved ones with unanswered questions. Jayvaire is described as a Black / African American male, standing between 6'0" and 6'2" tall and weighing between 165 and 185 pounds. He has black hair, which he was known to wear in braids, and brown eyes. His appearance is also distinguished by several tattoos. On his left forearm, he has a tattoo of a stack of money. His right arm bears a tattoo of the name "Eisha". His upper left arm is adorned with several tattoos, including the names "Lisa" and "Lula", the phrases "Blood is Thicker than Water" and "Fear God Not Them", and a tribute stating "Corey Rest in Peace". In May 2018, law enforcement agencies, including the Benton Harbor Police, the FBI's Violent Crime Task Force, and the Michigan State Police, conducted a search of Hull Park in connection with his disappearance after receiving new information. Despite their efforts, which included the use of a K-9 cadaver dog, the search did not lead to a breakthrough in the case, as only animal bones were discovered. The investigation into what happened to Jayvaire continues, with law enforcement agencies urging anyone with information to come forward. The circumstances of his disappearance are still largely unknown, creating a painful void for his family and community who await answers.
