In the late summer of 2015, a 16-year-old girl named Ciara Stacho vanished from Inkster, Michigan. The last known contact anyone had with her was on August 7th of that year. Ciara was described as a happy and outgoing teenager who enjoyed typical high school activities like attending school dances and football games. She was biracial, with both Black and white heritage, stood at five feet three inches tall, and weighed around 110 pounds. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a blue Northface jacket, blue jeans, and blue Ugg boots. Ciara had a history of running away from home, and authorities initially classified her case as such. In the weeks leading up to her disappearance, she had run away but had maintained contact with her mother, Dawn Stacho. Just three days before she was last heard from, Ciara exchanged text messages with her mother. In that conversation, her mother urged her to come home, telling her it was time to be a productive member of society. Ciara agreed, saying she knew and was ready to return. However, she never made it home, and that was the last time her mother ever heard from her. Since that day in August 2015, there has been no sign of Ciara Stacho. Her social media accounts have been inactive, and no one has reported seeing or hearing from her. Ciara had several distinct physical features, including numerous tattoos with names like "Domonic," "Nate," "Sasha," and "Gomez," as well as cheetah spots and shooting stars. She also had piercings in her tongue, earlobes, and tragus. A particularly unique detail is that she had removed her own braces, which may have left her teeth looking stained. Tragically, Ciara's mother, Dawn, passed away in 2021 without ever learning what became of her daughter. The case of Ciara Stacho remains an active missing person investigation with the Inkster Police Department, a painful mystery for the loved ones she left behind.
