In the quiet town of Culpeper, Virginia, a family has been waiting for answers in the disappearance of Nicholas Jonathan Echols, who was 54 years old at the time he was last seen. On the evening of December 9, 2011, Nicholas, also known as Nick or Nicolas, was at his brother's home. He mentioned to his family that he was planning to travel to California, a state where he had roots, and possibly even onward to Hawaii.
