In the fall of 2013, 48-year-old Jerry L. Cheeseman�s life was in a state of flux. Without a permanent residence, he found temporary shelter at the Light House Mission in Terre Haute, Indiana. His last confirmed contact with anyone occurred on October 17, 2013. For those who knew him, a sudden silence was uncharacteristic, as he typically maintained daily contact with his family. This abrupt and unexplained departure from his routine was the first indication that something was amiss.
