In the late summer of 2015, a young man named Carlos Mario Gonzalez Madrid vanished from Longmont, Colorado, leaving behind a void of information and a family searching for answers. He was 26 years old at the time, a man with his life ahead of him. On August 16, 2015, he was at a house in the city of Longmont. His stated intention was to make a significant journey, planning to travel to the border and cross back into Chihuahua, Mexico.
